Flexisense will be at the John Hancock Sports and Fitness Expo in Boston with one of its most extreme implementations, the athletic insole.

The John Hancock Sports & Fitness Expo which takes place from 15 to 17 of April in Boston Massachusetts, USA  and kicks off the Boston Marathon weekend, is one of the most significant events in the sports industry calendar.

HCi Viocare is in the Wearable Technologies Show 2016 Awards shortlist!

wtsawardMoving rapidly forward, HCi Viocare is getting more and more recognized for its ground breaking sensing technology, the new generation of sensing technology for wearable applications.

 This time, the company has been shortlisted in the healthcare category of the WTS 2016 Awards. The WTS 2016 Awards seek to recongnise the excellence in wearable, smart device and IoT innovations. The awards identify the best innovators in the 2016.

 The awards ceremony will take place on the 15th of March in London.

HCi Viocare files new international patent application for advances in pressure and shear sensing technology

HCi Viocare Technologies Ltd,  has filed for a new International (PCT) patent application for its pressure and shear sensing technology, which covers over 140 countries around the world. The new patent builds on the company’s three UK patent applications filed in December 2014, with further advances made to the sensor systems, and a wider range of applications in products that touch people’s everyday lives.
The high interest shown by prospective partners for the company’s technology after its initial application to the diabetic insole, drove HCi Viocare to develop further applications in areas such as the athletic shoes, mattresses, bicycles, car seats, gaming and many others.
